Project Overview
The digitization of this vital resource on local history. The directories list city residents, their addresses and occupations. City businesses are also listed by name and there is an index by category of business as well. Each volume may be browsed, but also is keyword searchable.
These directories are invaluable to local history researchers and genealogists, and are some of our most heavily used resources. Current print collection is decaying. Digitization allows patrons to access this information freely from anywhere. The digitization specifications conform to MDL’s requirements. The vendor will be Northern Micrographics, which is an MDL-Approved vendor.
