Joyce shared her growing up years that helped to spur her passion for nature and the farmland. After reading one of her poems, Joyce shared how the poem developed and why she wrote a specific line.
Attendees particularly enjoyed Joyce sharing a poem she has been commisioned to write for the 35W bridge collapse.
