Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
School-aged kids and teens will get hands-on art experiences under the guidance of a professional educator.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Comments from hosting librarians: Attendees made beads using magazine pages and glue sticks. Candace did a good job explaining the process and helping any who needed more instruction. Sanya was great. Kids rolled triangle-cut outs from magazines into beads, glued them and strung them to make bracelets, necklaces and anklets. Sanya also brought a magnet project for those who finished early. Kids really enjoyed themselves - lots of chatter as they did their wrapping.
