Project Overview
A free day of fun for kids and their grown-ups, held at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. This year's musical lineup features The Bazillions, Grammy award-winning The Okee Dokee Brothers, Paul Spring and New York-based Gustafer Yellowgold. Authors Cori Doerrfeld (Little Bunny Foo Foo), Sarah Forss (Alphabeasties), Michael Hall (Cat Tale) and Stephanie Watson (Elvis & Olive) will give book presentations. Workshops enable families to interact in a music class by Kindermusik of the Valley, stretch their bodies with The Adventures of Super Stretch, test a variety of instruments from Schmitt Music and create their own instrument with ArtStart’s reused and recycled materials. The Saturday Morning Submarine Adventure Show will entertain all ages through interactive improv, puppetry and comedy. The event includes food vendors and booths by local arts and cultural organizations.
