2012 Twin Cities Book Festival Children's Pavilion
This event will connect with 400 young people and their families. Providing a mix of cultural, literary and hands-on activities. Continue a successful partnership with Rain Taxi literary publication.
The Children's Pavilion at the 2012 Twin Cities Book Festival connected with more than 200 children and their families. It allowed MELSA to work with seven partners from a spectrum of organizations. Families were introducted to twelve Minnesota children's authors. Attendees made 3-D masks, designed accordion books, painted their own faces, learned about wildlife, jazz music and the theater. Several successful partnerships were established with other organizations serving children.
