Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
School-aged kids will use their imaginations and quick-thinking skills to create a play through the guidance of a professional theater educator.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Comments from hosting librarian: I appreciated that this program offered all the kids a chance to be involved in big or small ways and the instructor did a great job affirming each child's contributions, even when they were totally off track or not doable. I was very impressed with her ability to corral their very random ideas into a cohesive set of scenes. Not every actor could take fairies, woods, an alien, an evil scientist, and a chimera and make it make sense.
