Project Overview
The Zinghoppers Show is a mixed-media screen show involving sound and video projections that encourages audience participation and patron interaction. The performance lasted approximately 45 minutes. The program was based on summer reading program themes and promoted reading and having fun at the library.

Children will enjoy a fun-filled educational program.

Children will enjoy an audio/visual presentation that they are not used to seeing.

Children will see the importance of incorporating creative themes into the yearly summer reading program, and as a result, be inspired to read more. Anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Children were able to take part in a fun, interactive multimedia presentation which promoted reading. The children loved dancing along to the music and I heard many positive comments afterward.

13 Plum Creek Libraries partnered for this event including: Ivanhoe, Tracy, Wabasso, Rock County, Meinders, Lake Benton, Jackson County, Westbrook, Lakefield, Mountain Lake, Heron Lake, Lakefield, Minneota, Fulda.

Tracy Headlight Herald promoted the program with an advertisement.

The local Tracy radio station provided advertisement.
