Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will learn about many unique cabins in the state of Minnesota through author Doug Ohman's presentation.

Measurable Outcome(s)

1. All attendees came away with a thorough understanding of straw bale gardening. 2. Two attendees went home with the knowledge and the tools to start gardening immediately. 3. Many attendees checked out books on gardening as they left. Gardeners know that the library is a great resource. 4. Some new to our library attended the event and they now know that we are a source of information, an educational center, and a place to socialize. 5. Attendees learned that gardening is an art form. 6. People learned that gardening themselves can save them money. Straw bale gardening, in particular, is a very economical way to garden.
