Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The participants should go away from the presentation with information and ideas about methods of storing and organizing their family history research materials for best use. An organized family history then can be preserved in print or digital file storage to share with future generations. Anecdotal responses were collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees learned about several different software programs to help in their research and organizations and storage of their research results. Organization of physical space to research family history was also discussed along with what to bring on a fact-finding trip to local historical societies, courthouses or cemeteries. Participants were able to ask questions and share stories about their own personal family history quest.
