Richard Kimmel - Ambassador of Bluegrass
Dick Kimmel is a full time bluegrass musician, well known within bluegrass and traditional music circles having performed for more than fifty years throughout North America and Europe. Dick is an inductee into the Midwest Music Hall of Fame, the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame and Traditional Country and Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame. He has been nominated for and holds numerous awards.

The music of Dick Kimmel is firmly rooted within traditional bluegrass, folk and old time string band music genres where he excels as a performer as well as historian, mentor and teacher. People will not only get the experience of listening to old time bluegrass music but learn the history of the music as well. Anecdotal responses will be collected.
