The WonderWeavers Storytellers will perform their Stories Alive/Books Alive! Program at an outdoor event in Grove City to help promote early literacy. The WonderWeavers use audience participation, puppets, props, and magic to reinforce the importance of reading for people of all ages.

The families attending this event will learn to appreciate familiar stories in new ways. Caregivers will learn different ways to communicate to their young children and children will see stories come to life. In the process families will learn about the art of storytelling, puppetry, and magic.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The folks attending this event really felt invited to join the group and participate in the stories that the WonderWeavers told. They appreciated that this was a great event for their children. The children were excited to learn more about the books that the stories the WonderWeavers told came from.
