Participants will learn the history of the Wabasha Caves and the activities of St. Paul that were impacted by gangsters in the 1930's. Will gain knowledge of the 1930's culture in St. Paul. Will develop an interest in learning more about gangsters and their impact on the history of Minneapolis/St. Paul in the 1930s.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants rated this program good to great. They enjoyed the Wabasha Cave Tour, there were many comments on how great the tour guides were in both places. Participants learned much about the history of this time period in Minneapolis/St. Paul that they were unaware of - including expressing surprise at the corruption that existed in the police force at the time. Requests for more history tours to be scheduled.
