Arthur Norby is an artist, sculptor, and author. Mr. Norby chatted with us about his book entitled "The Deadly Winter," which is set in rural Minnesota in 1938 and involves the death of a transient worker on a WPA project that affects an entire community.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Learned much about the role of the WPA and the building of the LQP dam. Also learned much about the interesting experiences Mr. Norby underwent in trying to make a living as an artist.
