Instructor Ashley Lucas will show participants easy step by step instructions to help them create a gorgeous masterpiece! Even if they have never held a paintbrush before, she will teach the basics so attendees will feel like a pro by the end of the session.

1)Participants will learn how to paint! 2) Participants will learn painting techniques and experience the joy of making something with their hands. 3) This program will allow people to work together on a common interest, developing a sense of community along with developing their own project.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Many attendees stated that they had never painted before, had no skills, etc. On the post-survey, many remarked that they had improved their skills and the it had not been as hard as they had thought it would be. Comments include: I learned that painting isn't as difficult as it looks." "This class changed my attitude -- I think I can do it again!" " I could not believe this was free - but this is a nice way to share Legacy money."
