Author Colin Mustful, who has written three cross-genre novels about Minnesota frontier history and the U.S. / Dakota War of 1862, will speak on several subjects, including the history of the Dakota Indians in Minnesota as it relates to the U.S./Dakota War.

Attendees to this program will learn about the history of the Dakota people in Minnesota. In preparing for this program, the Grove City Library book club will be reading one of Colin Mustful's book - so there should be a lot to learn & discuss at the event.
The group that met really enjoyed the discussion with Colin Mustful and felt that it helped them learn more about the history of their area. The event did not bring more (new) participants to the book club, but it did spur the club to choose another book about the history of the Dakota War in Minnesota.
