Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Hope this will be an event that will bring generations together to learn more about this beloved Minnesota author, and learn about what it was like to grow up during that time, and what it took to be a female writer in the early to mid 1900s.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees to the program thought that the actor who portrayed Ms. Lovelace did a great job. Comments included: "The actor was superb" and "Her presentation was very real." Also mentioned that watching her presentation made them want to go back and read her books. Although we did not have a wide range of ages as we had hoped, those who did come felt they learned a lot about Ms. Lovelace's life, and enjoyed that the actor made the program an interactive experience.
