True Crime vs Crime Fiction
Minnesota authors Julie Kramer and Joe Kimball will talk about their work as reporters and fiction/nonfiction writers. Joe Kimball is the author of 'Secrets of the Congdon Mansion' and was the first reporter on the scene of the 1977 murders at the Congdon Mansion. Julie Kramer is a former journalist and Minnesota Book Award winner for her mystery series featuring TV reporter Riley Spartz.

Attendees at this program will learn what it takes to write a good mystery, as well as information on being a reporter for many of Minnesota's significant events in the past 40 years. They will also learn more about Joe Kimball's insights into the murders at the Congdon Mansion that took place nearly 40 years ago.
