Teen Paint Night with canvas painting will give participating teens the opportunity to learn how to paint on a canvas. The class will provide step-by-step instructions in creating a masterpiece on canvas.

Expected outcomes will be knowledge of painting on canvas using acrylic paints, expressing individual attitudes and feelings. Teen participants might not otherwise have the financial opportunity to attend such an art class.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Overall the teens rated this program an A++ experience. They enjoyed that the program was available to Teens Only - giving them an opportunity to meet, create, and experience this activity with their peers. The majority of teens learned not to stress over details but to have fun while painting. They communicated that they received a boost of confidence in their art skills from this experience.
