Project Overview

2015 Minnesota Book Award winner for Genre Fiction, Julie will present in six PLS libraries on the art of writing her award winning books. PLS paid a space rental fee for The Little Theatre in New London presentation. The remaining amount of Julie's fee was paid with Statewide Legacy dollars set aside for Minnesota Book Award author presentations.

Attendees were impressed with Julies' travels taken to attain knowledge of information to write her books, as well as learning how book covers are decided upon and put together. People also enjoyed discovering that some of her books have been translated into other languages and that her writings are popular in other countries.
