Project Overview
Two magical shows were performed by Robert and Lynn Halbrook. Skullduggery included magical tricks about pirates and recommended books about pirates for the kids to read. Willy Wonka's Magical Chocolate Factory consisted of tricks on inventing things, making candy, and bubble gum.

This magic show uses books as the basis for the magic tricks. Being a part of the show will encourage kids to come to the library to look for the books, and to study up on magic.

The children and adults were given book titles that related to pirates, inventing things, making candy, and magic. Children were able to be participants in the show and could see and be part of the show.
Source of Additional Funds
The library provided posters for advertising. The chamber of commerce included the shows in all of the advertising they did. The school provided the space for the program and the janitorial staff to help with setup. KDIO did ads about the magic shows the
