Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The program will help generate excitement for the summer reading program as well as reading in general. The children will also hear a musical performance which will help cultivate an interest in music.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Completed surveys showed positive comments about the performer. The children wanted to hear and learn more about music. Jack had a wide variety of musical instruments including a guitar, banjo, spoons, and a jaw harp.

Source of Additional Funds

The Willmar Early Childhood Coalition had a staff member on hand to help with the program. They also created a poster to advertise the event as it was a W.O.W. event.
