Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will meet a Minnesota author, learn about the writing process, as well as the story and research behind creating this novel, based on a true story, for publication.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Those in attendance enjoyed and learned much from Mr. Siefert, who brought along a picture board of some of the real life characters in his story. Attendees learned about the intense research involved in creating this story based on fact. Information on the 'facts' was shared, which helped to clarify what was not fiction in the book. 'This was a very interesting and informative workshop about writing historical fiction.'
