Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

This class will teach children to look at objects around them and imagine how to use them to create new things through the use of art and the elements of design.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The children attending these programs really enjoyed being able to create their own 'robots' out of all sorts of different materials. They learned that they can make a lot of things with 'little stuff' - and that making things (like robots) can be easier than they thought. One parent noted on the evaluation form that "Child was able to create a project and learn about magnets! Within 5 miles of our rural home. Other libraries are much farther away."
