Fagan Fighters WWII Museum/Air Show
Participants in this event will see and learn about WWII airplanes, will have the opportunity to visit the various museums on the grounds to learn about the history of WWII, watch a ground battle reenactment and see the air show featuring vintage WWII airplanes. Participants will come away with a better understanding of what WWII pilots went through during the war.
Participants enjoyed the ground battle reenactment, the WWII museum, the WWII aircraft exhibit/air show. They enjoyed hearing the history of the old planes and seeing them restored and still flying. The emphasis on remembering the sacrifices of our WWII vets was very touching. Participants enjoyed hearing about the missions and purposes of the planes and learning about Roy Fagen (museum founder) and his dedication to this museum. Anecdotal comments include: 'I learned a number of things about the U.S. Navy, Army air wings in WWII. Appreciate the work done at the museum and the people participating to make it a very good airshow!" "Appreciation of some of the challenges our armed forces were faced with early in WWII and how technology rose to the challenge."
