Project Overview

Library will visit the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. The trip will include both culturally important landmarks and also the Julmarknad, which translated means Christmas Market, which will include over 30 local handicraft artists.

Attendees will learn traditional handicrafts and how they are created, see how multiple cultures decorate for Christmas and learn about each culture, learn history of Swedes in America.
