Participants will 1) learn drawing techniques for various characters in a story, 2) develop skills to continue drawing and creating characters on their own, 3) develop an enthusiasm for the illustration process.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned 1) drawing techniques using shapes and letters, 2) tips for creating and drawing their own characters, 3) how to use their imaginations and real life objects to write books and draw characters. Participant responses included: "It gives the children something fun to do and learn during the summer." "I can tell she enjoys what she does. Good program!"
