Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Those attending the a.m. workshop wil have an idea of what records are available to use in searching their family history. Attendees present for the afternoon session will be able to locate and explore sites available on the internet, with a special focus on Minnesota sites.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Based on a written survey, respondents found the following valuable about the program: networking with others; learning about finding family history; an easy to understand and well-organized speaker; learning new genealogy web sites; learning how to find internet sites to get the information looking for.

Source of Additional Funds

Radio station provided advertising. City of Kerkhoven provided the space for the workshop. Kerkhoven Library did posters of the event. Pioneerland Library System provided a computer lab.
