Author Jeane Cooney
The "Tasty Book Club" will read author Jeanne Cooney's book 'Hotdish Heaven." Participants will make a dish using a recipe in the book, meet to share a potluck and to discuss the book. The author will then present a public talk focusing on her books and her creative process.

Participants in this event will have the chance to try out some of the recipes prepared by Book Club members. Then will hear about the author's books, her creative process, and her life in Northern Minnesota and how it contributes to her writing. The 'Tasty Book Club' hopes to gain new members following this program.
The program was humorous and the author was very down to earth. Attendees learned about the process of writing a book and getting it published. Food, Author, and presentation were all enjoyable. Comments: 'I like her (authors) dedication to the regional aspect of her books.' I brought my daughter to this program as she is a budding writer. It was so much fun to share the evening with her.'
