Participants will learn about the basics of acrylic painting, including paints, color, composition, and other elements. They will be guided through the process of creating a 11” x 14” canvas painting.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants:
1) learned how to paint an object and background, including techniques such as outlining, blending colors, layering and drying paint, and adding details,
2) Gained confidence in their ability to paint, as well as inspiration to continue developing their painting skills,
3) Enjoyed meeting and learning with others who have similar interests.
Participant Response:
Participants expressed confidence in their new skills and believed they could paint another picture at home.
