The two authors, members of the Twin Cities Sisters in Crime, will share the process of writing mysteries, where they get their inspiration and some of their own experiences. (A portion of this program paid with 2016 funds.)

Patrons will gain knowledge about mystery writing and the authors behind the books. They may gain interest in learning the process of writing and publishing books and will see the library as a source of programming that is educational and entertaining. Anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The authors gave a wonderful presentation. Patrons learned about their life experiences and what led them to eventually write mystery books. Patrons learned where the authors got their inspiration to write and learned about the process of writing and some interesting facts about the publishing world. The authors were a very entertaining duo and loved answering the many questions from the audience.
