Audience members will learn in depth storytelling from the author and hear about her writing process. They will also learn about local history and the author's heritage from her own perspective. Anecdotal responses will be collected.
Measurable Outcome(s)
The audience was thrilled to hear about why the author began to write, why she chose to write historical fiction and how she came to be published. Most of the audience was also able to relate to what she spoke about and enjoyed hearing her read her poetry.
