Modern Calligraphy - Jen Anfinson
Participants learn to create beautiful hand lettering in this two hour class. An introduction to supplies and techniques for hand lettering is taught as well as backgrounds, banners and florals.

Participants will learn about the techniques of modern calligraphy from the artist. The program will consist of an informational presentation about techniques and supplies, followed by hands on implementation and artistic instruction. Anecdotal responses will be collected.
Those who attended learned modern techniques of hand lettering. They also gained knowledge about the various writing instruments that are available for these types of projects. Attendees went through several exercises and practiced different aspects and styles of lettering and left with a greater knowledge of this art form.
