North Country Characters - Sutter Brothers
Ross and Bart Sutter, also known as the Sutter Brothers, entertain the audience with a blend of humor, poetry and music. Their North Country Characters program highlights the people and culture of northern Minnesota. (A portion of this program paid with 2016 funds.)

Attendees will learn about Minnesota culture through humor, music and poetry. Anecdotal responses will be collected.
Participants smiled and sang along with almost all of the songs. At least six participants stayed after the program to visit, ask questions and purchase cods. Attendees shared that they would like to have the Sutter brothers back again at the library. Participants showed their joy and learned some about Minnesota culture through the stories, poems and songs that were performed.
