Project Overview

Treava Lundberg brings classic children's songs to life in her Celebration of Music program. In addition to singing favorites, she will perform and talk about classical music. This program is an interactive celebration filled with dancing and singing. (A portion of this program paid with 2018 funds.)

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

This program will teach classic children's songs to a new generation of children. The performer will discuss classical music with the audience, getting them excited about what may be a new genre for them to listen to. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The participants gained knowledge about classical music and were introduced to this form of music that they had not heard before. The presenter performed the music and provided information about it including the composers and the history of each selection.
