Children's author and illustrator Mike Wohnoutka talks with children and their parents about illustrating and writing books. He shows samples of he creates a children's book from the initial concept sketches to the final paintings. He also shares where ideas come from and about the creative process when working on a book. The artist will do a drawing demonstration for the audience.

The presenter gave a thorough presentation regarding the process of drawing illustrations for a children's book. He took his book, 'Moo', and showed the audience from start to finish how the drawings were developed and what the end product looked like. He drew illustrations for the audience to explain his points along the way. There was a question and answer portion following that allowed for further learning about the illustration process. The artist gifted the library with two personal drawings that are now framed and hung in the children's area for all patrons to enjoy.
