Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We expect participants to gain knowledge about the history of henna art and to learn about the symbolism of the designs and their significance to different cultures. We hope to dispel any fear or myths about henna and the designs used and that more people will respect other cultures and enjoy the artistic nature of the designs. By experiencing the artist's presentation perhaps some may become interested in learning about doing their own henna designs. Anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants enjoyed learning about henna art including its background and historical significance and experiencing art and design.
