Book club members will have the unique opportunity to hear about the book they are reading and the author's writing process. Others from the community will also learn about history, about the author's heritage and the writing process. Participant evaluations will be collected.
This was a wonderful experience for those who attended. The author's presentation tied together literature, history and writing and was very educational while still being fun. 'I learned about the 1862 Uprising also why the Indians had the uprising due to dishonest agents.' 'I learned the association to the storyline and character tips. Thanks to the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund for making these events happen in rural Minnesota.'
