The Minneapolis Guitar Quartet presents a program of classical music covering more than 400 years and contemporary works influenced by jazz, rock and folk music. Besides playing guitars the performers talk about the history and meaning of the music and provide demonstrations of methods of guitar playing.

Members of our community will have the opportunity to attend a great musical concert without leaving the area. Attendees will be able to enjoy several different types of music as well as learn a bit about guitars and how they're played. Participant evaluations will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Those who attended were treated to a very entertaining and intimate concert by an extremely talented musical quartet. They had the opportunity to ask questions of the musicians and chat with them one on one. Attendees really enjoyed the wide variety of styles of music performed.
