Attendees will learn about Minnesota culture through humor, music and poetry. We are excited to partner with the Tracy Multi-Purpose Center on this program and it is our hope that it will expose library patrons to the services of the center and vice-versa. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.
This program helped the library establish a Multi-Purpose Center that I believe will continue in the future. We have already discussed co-hosting similar programs again. We were able to draw new people that usually do not attend library events and it is hoped that this will benefit us in the future. Anecdotal responses included, 'I enjoyed the program - they told stories of their growing up years and the Swedish songs were awesome.' 'The fellows were great, their lessons of journaling, music, stories of local color and songs.' 'Very entertaining - great music and poetry. Very personable gentlemen.'
