Rockin' Red Music - Leslie Dolby
Rockin' Red is the stage name for experienced musician Leslie Dolby. Leslie was the keyboardist and member of the children's entertainment group, do Re Let's Play from 2008 to 2016. With her primary instruments piano and saxophone, her show has the children using hula hoops, shakers and scarves. She teaches the children many different dances and ties in the summer reading program theme, 'Reading Takes You Everywhere'.

Children will be introduced to new music through song, musical instruments, toys and dance. Music programs help develop listening skills, coordination and music appreciation. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.
The children were given the opportunity to perform on stage singing and dancing. They learned new songs to sing and actions to perform with them, using egg shakers, colorful scarves and hula hoops. Children learned the importance of working in a group and following directions.
