Participants will gain knowledge about the difficulties of early Minnesota settlers and have a better understanding of the history of Minnesota. Some may also gain a new interest in Minnesota history. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Great program. I really liked the stories that are based on historical facts. 'The direct contact with the writer was the best part of the program.
