Patrons will learn how to make ornaments from old books and pages and will gain new interest in creating ornaments out of recycled materials. Patrons will see the library as a source of programming that is educational and entertaining. Participant evaluations will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Patrons enjoyed a relaxing afternoon learning the art of making holiday ornaments out of old books, maps and other paper materials. The instructor taught the patrons many different ornament patterns that they can make for the holidays. The patrons made a great variety of ornaments and many said that they were excited to make more for Christmas presents.
