Project Overview

This program guides the design and creation of a petite little home for the garden or indoors. Participants will use an array of found objects to construct the fairy house on a miniature scale. This is a class where the imagination takes hold and it's hard to stop. All supplies are included in this multi-generational program.

This will be a multi-generational workshop that provides an opportunity for grandparents or parents and children to work together to accomplish a goal of designing and creating a miniature fairy house. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Grandparents and parents joined children and worked together to design and build a fairy house. Participants were given supplies and asked to use their creativity to create their own fairy house. Each pair took home a completed work of art.
