Learn jewelry techniques using nature finds: agates, sea glass, rocks, driftwood, etc. Attendees may bring their favorite rock, shell or sea glass to wire wrap and create a unique piece of jewelry.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will learn how to create wire wrapped jewelry and have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about various nature finds. Participants will use their current artistic skills and learn new ones and will take home a unique piece of jewelry to wear. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned many aspects of creating wire wrapped jewelry including drilling holes in shells, how to wire wrap, gluing techniques and how to use tools such as needle nose pliers.
