Participants will learn how to create miniature buildings and accessories for use in a fairy garden. They will learn what materials to use, how to incorporate their ideas and artistic touches into the creation of buildings and containers that can be used in a fairy garden in a one of a kind piece of living art. Working with plants and natural items can increase understanding nature and learning how to make these gardens will give participants an opportunity to see nature in a different way. Anecdotal responses will be collected.
Participants learned how to incorporate their ideas and artistic talents into a unique piece of artwork. The artist discussed which containers and plants work best for fairy gardens and how best to use their miniature fairy home. The program helped community members to view the library as a welcoming place to exchange ideas and learn new skills.
