Participants will learn how to take photographs, how to write descriptively about photographs, and critique one another's work.
Measurable Outcome(s)
On July 16, 2011, the photographers met to show their photographs and to work together to critique each other's work. Carey McLaughlin also attended the meeting and then proceeded to teach a class on how to write descriptively about photographs. McLaughlin then proceeded to meet with the students in small groups or communicated via e-mail to help edit the writings. The teens completed their writings and chose their photographs.
