Project Overview
As part of our 9th Annual ArtSplash Art Fair, five participating artists (Jeremy Freeman, Mark Fischer, Nicole Fischer, Joellen Preston, and Cathy Dahl) provided classes for people attending the art fair. Make and take art projects this year included: paper plate puppets, clothespin caterpillars, Father’s Day cards, printmaking, and origami rose bookmarks.

Visitors were expected to learn new skills about creating art, enjoy their time with the artists and learn new skills to take home and try.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Visitors learned new techniques—especially with the printmaking project. Visitors were successful in making an art project to take home. Visitors all seemed to be having fun making their projects. Visitors learned new skills that they would be able to replicate on their own. Unfortunately, a big rainstorm put a literal damper on activities in the afternoon, but the morning sessions were well-attended. 20 people attended.
