Project Overview
Combining entertainment and educational significance, Brian Richards presents a family-friendly program of magic and comedy. His theme will incorporate a Halloween flavor and will emphasize the importance of reading, libraries and life-long learning into his presentation. Brian’s fun and unique program is new to the Mapleton Library and will attract new library patrons and community members as well as those regular and loyal library users.

This popular and educational program gives the audience a fun and interactive experience. The audience is treated to magic and comedy while being encouraged to read and take advantage of the wonderful resources that the library has to offer.

Measurable Outcome(s)

44 people attended. Brian Richards provided an entertaining and educational presentation and provided encouragement to the young audience about the importance and enjoyment of reading. The audience was captivated by his magic performance and his comedy kept the audience engaged and amused. There were many very positive comments after the program and many thanks to the staff and the ACHF for paying for the cost of this performer.
