History Day Hullabaloo
A majority of student respondents will meet one-on-one with a mentor, receive at least one suggestion they can use to improve their History Day project, learn about a new resource or research method they can use for their History Day project, consider participating in another History Day Hullabaloo or encourage another student to participate.
29 people attended. Every student who participated met with a mentor, and the vast majority received at least one suggestion they could use to improve their History Day project. In addition, a majority of attendees learned about a new resource or research method, and they also would consider participating in another Hullabaloo or encouraging another student to participate. Librarian observed students meeting one-on-one with mentors, asking questions, reading the resource books that were displayed, and looking at the sample projects that were provided by the History Day staff. Librarian observed mentors engaging with students by asking in-depth questions about their projects and providing guidance on resources. Librarian spoke with a number of participants who thanked us for hosting the program.
