Project Overview
This was the second annual St. Peter Book Festival. The Book Festival provided people with the opportunity to meet regional authors and illustrators as well as publishers. Throughout the afternoon the attendees were able to visit with the authors/illustrators/publishers at their tables. There were two panels offered: one adult fiction (Thomas Maltman, Erin Hart and Peter Geye) and one youth fiction (Tim Kehoe and Sheila O'Connor). In the children's area three authors read to the children (Julie Gassman, Cori Doerrfeld and Barbara DaCosta) and author Chris Harbo did origami with the kids. There were two additional book-related craft activities. William Kent Krueger was the keynote speaker at the brunch with authors.
